In this class, there will be time for play, art projects and circle time. Children have supervised play outside while parents have discussion on topics such as: development, discipline, effective limit setting, tantrums, nutrition and more. The classes assist with separation anxiety. Younger siblings who are nursing or very young infants are welcome. Older children will play outside during discussion and babies and young toddlers will stay inside with parents.
This is a class discussion led by Ms. Parry who has worked with pre-school age children and directed preschool programs for over 26 years. Topics such as discipline, academic and play-based curriculum, gender issues, child development, appropriate media exposure, getting ready for kindergarten and other topics of interest to the group will be covered. No child care is provided. Nursing, non-crawling children may come.(10 weeks)
