The Acalanes Union High School District offers students the chance to take review classes during the Summer. Incoming 10-12th grade students wishing to improve grades can repeat courses in Biology, Geology, History, Math, English, and Spanish. Students may also take courses to prepare for the CAHSEE exam, and non-graduating Seniors are able to retake key Senior courses in order to graduate.
2013 Summer School registration materials appear below. The Acalanes Union High School District Summer School will be offered through two programs - General Summer School at Miramonte High School and Acalanes Center for Independent Study Summer School (ACIS Summer School) at Del Valle Campus. The General Summer School (Session I: June 17 - July 5 for semester 1; Session II: July 8 - July 25 for semester 2) will host students needing to improve D and/or F grades in certain subjects, while ACIS Summer School (Sessions I : June 17 - July 5) hosts students wishing to improve D and/or F grades in other subjects for both semesters. Be sure to keep a close eye on registration due dates to ensure your student submits their application on time.
