    Computer Literacy - 7 classes          This class is held at Las Lomas High School

    Tired of asking family and friends for help with simple computer use?  Learn to do it yourself!  This class assumes no prior knowledge of computers. It is a hands-on class, taught on PC computers with Windows 7 and Office 2010. Students learn the basics of emailing, surfing the web, and Office 2010 programs.  Users will practice keyboarding, as well as mouse techniques. No prerequisite.

    Microsoft Excel - Comprehensive - 10 classes 

    This course is for the student who wants to learn the comprehensive functions of Microsoft Excel, a powerful spreadsheet program which is part of the Microsoft Office Suite.  This course prepares students for Microsoft certification testing but is also useful for students who want a deeper understanding of the program.  No previous experience with this software is required. 

    The required online textbook will be purchased at the first class meeting and with this one-time purchase, the textbook is good for other Microsoft Office Suite courses to be offered.

    If you would like to earn college credit for this class you may register on the first class to earn DVC credit through our Articulation partnership with DVC.
