Visual & Performing Arts
Acalanes Union High School District requires that students complete 20 credits in the Breadth area of the graduation requirements. Visual and Performing Arts are currently part of the Breadth Requirement.
Students in Class of 2017, 2018, and 2019 have the following Breadth Requirement: One year each, in two of the following five areas: Career Technical Education, World Language, American Sign Language, Visual Arts and Performing (20 credits)
Students in Class of 2020 have the following Visual and Performing Arts requirement: 1 year (10 credits) of Visual or Performing Arts.
All courses taught in the Acalanes Union High School district follow a Board approved course of study. Below are AUHSD courses of study for courses offered within the Visual and Performing Arts Department. Please note that Advanced Placement (AP) courses follow College Board courses of study. The courses below are offered in the district; however, not all courses are offered at each AUHSD school site. Please visit the AUHSD Course Catalog to determine if a certain course is offered at a specific school site.
