Miramonte Communication Guideline
The outline below sets forth the process for addressing a student’s academic or athletic concerns and will govern communications between staff and others in the MHS community. If any step in the line of communication is not followed, the issue in question will be immediately referred back to the first skipped level.
A. Line of Communication –Academic
Student speaks with teacher
Student and parent communicate with teacher
Student and parent communicate with Counselor and Teacher
Student and parent communicate with Counselor, Associate Principal and Teacher
Student and parent communicate with Counselor, Associate Principal, Principal and Teacher
Student and parent communicate with District Administration and site personnel as needed.
B. Line of Communication –Athletics
Student/athlete speaks with coach
Student/athlete and parent communicate with coach
Student/athlete and parent communicate with coach and Athletic Director
Student/athlete and parent communicate with coach, Athletic Director and Principal
Student/athlete and parent communicate with District Office and site personnel as needed
