PowerPoint - Comprehensive - Articulation classes with DVC - 10 classes
PowerPoint Comprehensive This course is for students who want to learn the comprehensive functions of Microsoft PowerPoint, part of the Microsoft Office Suite. Students design, create, format, save, and print presentations. Students use themes, edit and rearrange slides, import and edit clipart or other graphics, link and embed charts, and much more. This class is a hands-on certificate course utilizing PowerPoint in a guided self-paced environment. Note this class is hybrid face-to-face and requires outside classroom homework. Some computer knowledge necessary. A required online textbook will be purchased at first class meeting and with this one-time purchase, textbook is good for other Microsoft Office Suite courses.

Introduction to Business - Articulation classes with DVC -10 classes This course is for students who want an introduction to the study of the modern business enterprise. Students will examine the role of business in a market economy, survey current business trends and evaluate the global, financial, and social environment in which businesses exist and operate. Moreover, the course will describe the evolution, formation, and management of American and international businesses, and provide a basic understanding of various functional areas of business, including economics, marketing, finance, management, human resources, international operations, and business decision-making using information technology.
