Summer Mental Health Resource List
(Updated June 1, 2020)
As we close the 2019-2020 academic school year, as a district, we acknowledge that students may continue to experience pandemic-induced stress and anxiety in addition to race-related stress and tension due to the unrest in cities across the country following the death of a Black Minneapolis resident, George Floyd. To support ongoing student learning and engagement, and provide an opportunity for students to process and navigate the array of emotions they might be experiencing during these times, wellness is extending virtual services through July 16.
If you believe your student may benefit from connection or check-in from someone on the wellness team, please use this link to complete a wellness referral or email wellness staff at email@example.com
Wellness is available and will respond to referrals on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays between the hours of 11:00-3:00pm.
If your student or family is experiencing a medical or psychiatric emergency, please call 911 or take your student to the nearest hospital. If you need help accessing services outside of school, please use this link for a list of summer resources available in Contra Costa County.
For a life-threatening emergency, contact 911 immediately.
