Acalanes Adult Education have taken enhanced health and safety measures as we look to reopening the campus for Fall, 2020. All students, staff, and community members are to follow all posted instructions while visiting the Del Valle Education Center. Of note, an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in public locations where people are present.
We kindly request all students, staff, and community members adhere to the following guidelines when visiting the Del Valle Education Center and Acalanes Adult Education classes.
Face coverings should be worn.
Desks will be spaced six (6) feet apart and all will be facing the same direction.
Classrooms in the 100-wing will be able to accommodate a maximum of 15 students.
The exercise room in the 300-wing will be able to accommodate a maximum of 20 students.
Wash hands often with soap and warm water for 20-seconds.
If soap and water are not available, alcohol-based hand sanitizer will be available in the hallways and classrooms.
Students, staff, and community members should utilize these stations upon entering buildings and classrooms.
Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Put your used tissue in the wastebasket.
If you do not have a tissue, cough or sneeze into your upper sleeve or elbow - not your hands.
Sharing of food and coffee/tea, etc. will not be permitted in classrooms.
