Transition to the In-Person Hybrid Learning Model
Tuesdays and Thursdays -- Cohort A is on campus and Cohorts B/AC/BC have remote instruction.
Wednesdays and Fridays -- Cohort B is on campus and Cohorts A/AC/BC have remote instruction.
Key Steps to Prepare for Hybrid In-Person Learning
Required COVID-19 Lessons in Canvas
All students, those coming for in-person learning and those staying in fully-remote learning, must have completed the "COVID-19 Training" lessons in Canvas. These lessons are in the "LLHS Student Info 2020-21" course. These required lessons provide critical health and safety information for all students.
Register for Health Screener
A key safety protocol is the daily health screening for students and staff. All students are required to complete a daily COVID-19 screening before they come to school, including the day of their tour. Students should complete the health screening in the morning prior to arriving at school. For ease of use, Las Lomas recommends that students register for the text-based screening option rather than the email-based option. Please use the following link to register for the daily health screening:
Request Technology if Necessary
Las Lomas remains committed to providing all students the necessary technology to succeed in the classroom. Students who need a 1:1 device to bring to school should request technology from Mrs. Geotina (email@example.com).
Know Your Hybrid Cohort Group
Based on family selections of either in-person or fully-remote learning, Las Lomas scheduled all students into Hybrid Cohorts. In-person groups are Hybrid Cohorts A and B. Fully-remote groups are Hybrid Cohorts AC and BC. Las Lomas notified students and parents/guardians of these groups earlier in the year. To review your Hybrid Cohort assignment, follow the directions below:
Log into Aeries Pass Portal
Select the tab "Student Info"
Select the tab "Demographics"
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and look for the box labeled "Sched Grp"
If you chose fully-remote learning or in-class instruction for the remainder of the school year and would like to alter your choice, please email your counselor.
Know Your Classroom Locations
Students may find their classroom locations via the Aeries Pass Portal:
Log into Aeries Pass Portal
Select the tab "Classes"
Las Lomas will continue to use Academy as a key avenue to provide students with academic support. All in-person students will need to attend Academy. Students in grades 11 & 12 will attend Academy 1 and students in grades 9 & 10 will attend Academy 2. (See schedule links below ) Students will continue to use the TeachMore system to register for an Academy session.
Limited parking is available on Campus. Check the school’s website for more information.
