• Course Scheduling Timeline and Procedures

    ·         February: Student course registration takes place.  Current freshmen, sophomores, and juniors are visited in class by counselors. Each student is provided with all the necessary information to make appropriate course selections for the following school year. Students have one week to review the information and make their course requests.

    ·         February-March: Summer school registration for first semester courses.  Summer school is available for remediation of core academic courses. www.acalanes.k12.ca.us/summerschool

    ·         March (last day of the 3rd quarter): Final day to drop a current second semester class without penalty.

    ·         April-May: Summer School registration for second semester courses. Summer school is available for remediation of core academic courses. www.acalanes.k12.ca.us/summerschool

    ·         August (Tri-S): Student schedules are finalized and available for pick-up.

    o   Students who need to make a schedule change for the following reasons must notify their counselor in person at Tri-S for a schedule change:

    § Adding a required course for graduation

    § Incorrect class level or placement

    § Gaps in schedule

    § Dropping an extra elective not needed for graduation
