Add/Drop Period
August 18th - August 25th.
Schedule changes will be made for the following reasons:
-
Missing a required class for graduation or college admission
-
Incorrect level placement (e.g. Geometry vs. Algebra 1, summer school completed)
-
Gap in the middle of the day (e.g. no class scheduled 3rd period)
-
Change (add/drop) an elective class
Changes cannot be made to accommodate extra curricular schedules, teacher preference, or period preference.
To request a schedule change:
-
Submit a Schedule Change Request via Google form.
-
The Google form link will be emailed to students and accessible through Canvas on Friday, August 18th at 8am.
-
QR codes of the Google form will be posted on the counseling/attendance doors and around campus, as well.
-
If you are requesting more than one change, please submit a separate form for each request.
-
The deadline to submit a Schedule Change Request form is 3pm on August 25th.
-
Your schedule may be rearranged (class periods/teachers) in order to accommodate your request. Once a schedule change is made, you cannot go back to your previous schedule.
If a schedule is changed, students will be notified via email. Please check email daily.
Counselors work diligently to honor requests through the add/drop period. Given the complexities of the master schedule, it may take several days before classes become available to fit each student's unique schedule. Many courses are at capacity, so requests cannot be guaranteed. If your request cannot be made, students will be notified via email on Monday, August 28th.
We thank you for your patience during this time. Let's have a great year and Go Knights!
