Location for Summer School:
- Las Lomas High School
Device:
Students will need to bring a laptop. If a student does not have a laptop, one will be provided by the site for the student to use.
Fuel Ed:
- All courses will be offered through Fuel Ed, an online platform for coursework.
- Students have access to their classes 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Students may complete their course(s) as fast as they see fit.
- Certain assessments and the final must be taken in the presence of their summer school teacher.

- Geometry for Original Credit is a 5-week session.
- Classes begin Monday, June 9 and end Thursday, July 10, 2025.
- Classes are Monday - Thursday (No classes on Friday)
- Holidays (no class): June 19, 20 and July 3, 4
- Class periods are 8:30-10 & 10:30-12:00
- Students attend all days and both periods
- If a student misses more than 2 days of the course, the student may be dropped from the course.
- Students are required to attend on the first day of the course to establish accurate rosters. If a student is not able to attend the first day, they will be dropped from the course.
Credit Recovery Program

Please email the completed application to your counselor. After June 2nd please come to the summer school office at LLHS on the morning of June 9th to register.Credit Recovery Information:
- Credit Recovery is a 5-week session, but if the students progress through the class faster, then they can finish early.
- Classes begin Monday, June 9 and end Thursday, July 10, 2025.
- Students are enrolled into an in-person class that meets either Monday/Wednesday (Cohort A) or Tuesday/Thursday (Cohort B) with no classes on Fridays.
- Holidays (no class): June 18,19 and July 3, 4
- Students may be enrolled in either the 1st or 2nd period of their assigned cohort.
- 1st Period is 8:30-10:00 & 2nd period is 10:30-12:00
- Students are required to attend their in-person class. If students are not attending their class(es), they may be placed on a hold or they may be dropped.
- If any student needs additional time on campus to work on their classes, the summer school staff will definitely accommodate that request and provide spaces with teachers.
- Students can accelerate their classes and work ahead to finish early, and there are certain assessments that are required to take in person along with the final.

Brunch: 10:00 - 10:30 a.m.Algebra Readiness Program:
The 2025 AUHSD Algebra Readiness Summer Program is an invitation-only program that will focus on fostering Algebra I skills and mathematic thinking for incoming 9th grade students. AUHSD will invite students based on their 8th grade math performance. The goal of the program is to strengthen the skills necessary for the successful completion of Algebra I in high school.

Dates: June 9 - July 10 (See schedule with holidays below)
Days: 4 days/week, in person
Times: 8:30am-11:00am
Location: Las Lomas High SchoolHigh School Credit: Students who participate will receive 5 elective credits towards high school graduation.
Staff: The program will be staffed by AUHSD teachers who will reinforce algebra readiness and mathematical thinking.
Meals: Breakfast and brunch will be provided at no cost for students.
Computers: Students do not need to bring a computer.
Attendance: For students to earn credit, they may only miss two classes. If students need to miss more classes, they should notify their summer school teacher.
Day 1, Monday, June 9 -- Students should come to the Las Lomas Main Office, and staff will guide them to their classroom.
