Bring-Your-Own-Device (BYOD)
Las Lomas is a Bring-Your-Own-Device school. BYOD is a program that allows the student to use their own device to access educational resources and create digital content. In a BYOD program, students are expected to have their digital device available for daily use in the classroom.
Students in a BYOD program are required to bring a device each day. If a student is unable to bring their own device and the use of the device is required by the teacher, a device can be provided for the student upon request.
LLHS Device Expectations:
- Teachers will be using devices in their classrooms this year to support student learning.
- All students should be bringing their devices to school daily.
- Students will need to have a device to use during classes.
- If you cannot get one or have difficulty LLHS will provide one for you.

Chromebook 1:1 Initiative
Las Lomas is committed to providing our students with a personalized learning environment to best support each student's individual learning style. To support this goal, Las Lomas has implemented a 1:1 chromebook program. The use of the mobile learning devices falls within the guidelines of the AUHSD Acceptable Use Policy and the AUHSD Equipment Loan Form. Each individual is responsible for his/her own device and is to be used by that student only. Each family is responsible for the care of any district issued device when not on campus and are responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged district issued device or accessory.
