Transition to In-Person Instruction & COVID-19 Info

Based on the orders issued by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and the Contra Costa County Office of Health Services (CCHS), and as approved by the AUHSD Governing Board, all AUHSD schools started the 2020-2021 school year in a Distance Learning instructional model. AUHSD schools transitioned to a Hybrid Learning Model when the Contra Costa County moved to the "Red Tier" on the state's COVID-19 Dashboard.AUHSD schools will start the 2021-2022 school year with in-person instruction. AUHSD schools will continue to offer remote instruction to families that may need it during the 2021-2022 school year.
