Thursday, February 13 Sports Report

  • In Thursday's action...
    • The girls soccer team hosts Northgate HS.  JV at 5:00 and varsity at 7:00.
    • The freshman boys soccer team is at College Park HS at 4:00.
    In Friday's action...
    • The #1 seeded girls basketball team hosts #4 Campolindo HS in the DAL semifinal at 5:30.   This is a DAL playoff game and no passes and no ASB cards will be accepted.
    • The #1 seeded boys basketball team hosts #5 Clayton Valley Charter HS in the DAL semifinal at 7:00.  This is a DAL playoff game and no passes and no ASB cards will be accepted.
    • The girls soccer team hosts Alhambra HS at 3:30.
    In Saturday's action...
    • Acalanes HS hosts the DAL basketball 1st place games.  The boys game is at 2:30 and the girls game is at 5:00.
    • The wrestling team is in the DAL championship at Concord HS.
    • The boys soccer team hosts College Park HS.  Freshmen at 10:00, jv at 12:00 and varsity at 2:00.
    • ​The frosh-soph girls soccer team is at Northgate HS at 9:00 and at Campolindo HS at 2:00.
    • The softball team is in the Vanden Jamboree.

    Admission Charges

    • The admission charge for boys volleyball games at Acalanes HS will be $5 general admission and $3 for students, children and senior citizens.  There is an additional $1 convenience fee.
    • All tickets will be purchased on GoFan.  There will be no cash purchase of tickets.
    • Students that purchased the ASB Sticker will purchase a complimentary ticket on GoFan by entering their student body number as the Promo Code.

    SAFETY ANNOUNCEMENT

    Possession or use of alcohol at basketball games violates school rules and endangers our community. To ensure safety at future events, we are enforcing new policies effective immediately:

    • No Bags: Students cannot bring bags into the stadium without prior approval from administration or the athletic director. Store belongings in your lockers or cars.
    • No Outside Beverages: Outside drinks or open containers are prohibited. Sealed bottled water is allowed, and empty containers can be refilled at the snack shack. Concessions will be available.
    • Breathalyzer Testing: Students may be tested for alcohol if exhibiting concerning behavior at the entrance or during the game.

    We are committed to taking firm action to prevent alcohol on our campus. The consequences of underage drinking are serious, and we must all work together to ensure that our students are making healthy, responsible choices.
