Miramonte Communication Guideline
The outline below sets forth the process for addressing a student’s academic or athletic concerns and will govern communications between staff and others in the Miramonte community. Any questions or concerns regarding student and/or teacher/coach issues should begin at Step 1 and proceed as necessary through the remaining steps of the process:
A. Line of Communication –Academic

- Student speaks with teacher
- Student and parent communicate with teacher
- Student and parent communicate with Counselor and Teacher
- Student and parent communicate with Counselor, Associate Principal and Teacher
- Student and parent communicate with Counselor, Associate Principal, Principal and Teacher
- Student and parent communicate with District Administration and site personnel as needed.
B. Line of Communication –Athletics

- Student/athlete speaks with coach
- Student/athlete and parent communicate with coach
- Student/athlete and parent communicate with coach and Athletic Director
- Student/athlete and parent communicate with coach, Athletic Director and Principal
- Student/athlete and parent communicate with District Office and site personnel as needed
