Spring has arrived! It is with great pleasure that we present our Spring courses at Acalanes Adult Education. A Summer Brochure will be published later this Spring. As you peruse this brochure, you will find many familiar course offerings, in addition to some new and exciting courses to expand our minds, and our learning. We hope that you will find a course, or two, or more, which will capture your interest and become a lifelong learning treasure for years to come.
The spring term at Acalanes Adult Education features new crafting classes taught by Erika Guderian. Guests can create Candy Leis (May 13, 2025) and/or Money/Paper Leis (May 20, 2025) for celebrating graduations and promotions. Other classes include Make Your Own Mushroom Garden Decor (March 25, 2025) and Patriotic Rocket Centerpieces (April 15, 2025).
We are pleased to welcome our newest instructor, Julie Curson, who will be teaching three new and exciting courses. Folded Book Art, a two-class session course, will allow Guests to create a sculpture out of a book. Finally, Julie will teach an eight-class session course on Weaving for Beginners, where participants will learn the art of Fiber Coiled Basketry. Register today!
