To Our Acalanes Adult Education Community,

Since 1945, Acalanes Adult Education (AAE) has provided educational opportunities to the residents of Lafayette, Moraga, Orinda, Walnut Creek and surrounding communities. AAE fosters lifelong learning, meeting the needs of a student body diverse in age, background, and interests, by providing a stimulating curriculum delivered by a qualified, supportive, and dedicated staff. The staff at AAE are grateful for the continued support of our community of learners and our steady enrollment during the 2020 - 2021 academic year through our Distance Learning model.

Acalanes Adult Education welcomes you back to in-person learning at the Del Valle Education Center.  Ahead of your enrollment in our classes, know that we have made updates to our instructional program based on guidance from health authorities.  The classroom setting may appear slightly different from the last time you were in one of our classes; however, we strive to provide you with an exceptional educational experience.  As always, the health and safety of our students and staff are paramount.  We look forward to coming together once again to Explore, Experience, and Learn.

For more information regarding our reopening guidlines, please be sure to visit auhsd.org/reopening for updated information.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate through the process of safely reopening for in-person learning beginning on Monday, September 13, 2021.
