MIKE MATTHEWS
Mike Matthews has been using Apple products since the days of the Apple ][ Plus. He remembers floppy drives, tape backups, and AppleSoft BASIC, but does not regret their passing into the dustbin of computer history. He is a Bay Area native and Cal graduate and learned what he knows about computers from books, curiosity, and lots of trial and errors. Mike tries to break down complicated problems into easy-to-understand parts and has a lot of experience teaching and training adults in how to accomplish their goals with their computer products. Mike was a longtime member of the Apple Consultants Network for over two decades but prefers to work with consumers (rather than businesses) and help them solve their computer problems. He received a 2021 Excellence in Teaching Award from the Contra Costa Chapter of the California Council for Adult Education.
