Mrs. Leticia Del Toro-Gasquy

Mrs. Del Toro-Gasquy originally began teaching as a Spanish and English teacher. Her family is from Jalisco, Mexico and she is a lifelong Californian. A few years ago she switched to teaching Spanish and French to incorporate her cultural and linguistic knowledge from extensive time spent studying in Mexico and France. She earned a B.A. in Spanish and Portuguese from UC Berkeley, an MA in English language and literature from UC Davis and a teaching credential from San Francisco State University. She also completed work on her French credential at the UQAM in Montreal.  When she is not teaching, she is hiking, cooking, or writing. She enjoys helping students learn about other cultures and encouraging them to take risks in their language learning journeys.
