Individual Counseling Appointments

There are several ways to contact the Wellness Staff to create individual wellness appointments. If you are concerned about yourself or another student, you can submit a Wellness Referral to us at bit.ly/MHSwellreferral. Once we receive the referral, a member of our Wellness Staff will reach out to the individual referred through school email to set up some time to connect. Alternatively, you can also email mhswellness@auhsdschools.org or call (925) 280-3936 x 3353 to set up an individual counseling appointment. Sessions are ~35 minutes and can be one time or ongoing as needed (up to 5-7 sessions).  

Support/Empowerment Groups

Support and empowerment groups offer the opportunity to meet with peers who may be working through similar issues or challenges. Each group is facilitated by a Wellness Center staff member. Cool Down Visits

We recognize that our students have challenges going on in their every day lives and that sometimes, their life stresses may carry over into the school day. During the school day, students may drop in for a short break to cool down, re-group, and check in with a Wellness Center staff person if needed. 

Lunch Time Activities

The Wellness Center hosts different activities during lunch such as watercolor, friendship bracelets, or stressballs to help students promote their well-being and develop self-care practices. Follow us @miramonte_wellness for announcements about upcoming events!

First Aid and Health Supplies

Drop-by our Health Cart if you are in need of first aid or sexual health supplies.
