Bond Measure E
On November 4, 2008, 64.26% of the voters in the Acalanes Union High School District supported Measure E, a $93 million bond to establish a ten-year technology fund, upgrade instructional classroom technology, replace worn, aging roofs, convert obsolete facilities into additional classroom space, upgrade electrical and energy management systems to improve efficiency, and repair, construct, equip or upgrade school facilities.
The election, conducted under Proposition 39, requires the District to establish the Measure E Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee to ensure the accountability requirements of the bond measure. The committee’s primary responsibilities are to review expenditures, keep the community informed of the expenditures, and to provide the Governing Board with an annual report. The Committee meets on a quarterly basis. One fiscal year’s meetings, including agenda and minutes are posted for review. Previous years board agendas and supporting material can be found at our District’s online BoardDocs site.Measure E Citizens' Bond Oversight Committee RosterMeasure E BylawsBond Resolution No. 08-09-01Annual ReportCitizens' Oversight Committee Report: FY 2018-2019 Annual Report and FY 2019-2020 Close Out Report
