Acalanes Union High School District requires each student to complete three years (30 credits) of Social Studies/History courses to obtain a high school diploma.
Following courses are required for graduation:
World History/Geography (10 credits)
US History (10 credits)
US Government (5 credits)
Economics (5 credits)
All courses taught in the Acalanes Union High School district follow a Board approved course of study. Below are AUHSD courses of study for courses offered within the Social Science Department. Please note that Advanced Placement (AP) courses follow College Board courses of study. The courses below are offered in the district, however not all courses are offered at each AUHSD school site.
