    Language classes start in Fall Q1 and continue through Spring Q4.  
    A complete year of Language is A, B, C & D  "A" is offered in Fall Q1, "B" is offered in Fal Q2, "C" is offered Winter Q3 & "D" is offered in Spring Q4
    Spanish: First Year through Advanced classes emphasize communication by laying a strong foundation in grammar and vocabulary. Classes also include conversation and culture.  Textbooks may be required.

    Spanish for Travelers - [10 Class Sessions] 

    Traveling to a Spanish-speaking country like Spain or Mexico is an enriching experience, and while many urban centers cater to English speakers, knowing some key Spanish phrases will significantly enhance your journey, aid in communication, and show respect for the local culture. This course will provide essential Spanish vocabulary and phrases specifically tailored for tourists navigating Spanish speaking travel environments.

    Spanish 2C - [9 Class Sessions]

    In this course, Guests will engage in a comprehensive review of the present and past tenses in Spanish, in addition to an in-depth exploration of grammatical topics such as por and para, demonstrative pronouns, comparatives, and other pertinent grammatical concepts. In this course, we will also work on the analysis of literary and narrative works selected based on the group's level of linguistic proficiency. Each book reading session is accompanied by formative assessment questionnaires designed to measure Guests' reading comprehension regarding the textual material addressed. Additionally, the immersion in these readings will facilitate the acquisition and internalization of new vocabulary, which is fundamental for oral expression and the improvement of the participants' communicative fluency. It is recommended thatGuests have completed the Advanced Beginning Spanish or the Beginning Spanish class as a prerequisite.Please Note: A textbook is required. In this course, we will also work on the analysis of literary and narrative works selected based on the group's level of linguistic proficiency.     Intermediate and Advanced Spanish Conversation - [8 Class Sessions]

    This dynamic and interactive course is designed to empower Guests with the essential vocabulary and communicative strategies needed to engage in natural and spontaneous conversations. The primary objective is to cultivate a comfortable and confident oral expression, enabling Guests to maintain fluent and meaningful exchanges with their peers. Through a series of engaging activities, role-playing scenarios, and structured discussions, Guests will not only expand their lexical repertoire but also refine their ability to articulate thoughts, express opinions, and understand diverse perspectives. The emphasis will be on practical application, ensuring that Guests can seamlessly integrate new vocabulary and grammatical structures into their real-time interactions, fostering a genuine sense of connection and understanding within the learning community.
