    CPR/AED/FIRST AID/EPIPEN/INHALER CERTIFICATION - 2 classes

    calanes Adult Education is pleased to welcome Kathleen Mooney RN MN PHN to our program. Become Adult, Child, and Infant First Aid/CPR/AED/EpiPen/Inhaler certified through Acalanes Adult Education.
    Our course is taught by Kathleen Mooney RN MN PHN, American Red Cross Instructor. The course will consist of two, three-hour class sessions (4/16 & 4/23) Please note, there are no options for make-up due to missed class and both sessions must be attended to receive certification.

    This course is recommended for: Guests interested in healthcare, First Responders and Educators, Parents or Caregivers, Coaches, and anyone who wishes to save lives!

    Gentle Yoga Flow - 10 classes           

    Gentle yoga flows through poses connecting breath to movement. Creating a union of mind and body while working on strength, flexibility and balance. Suitable for all levels from beginner to advanced practice. Bring a mat and a smile. Props are available in class.

    Hatha Yoga for Strength and Balance - 10 classes 

    Come join in this fun yoga class that will focus on yoga postures to increase strength and balance. We will connect breath and movement, as we move through a series of yoga poses, placing emphasis on stretching and strengthening muscles. The class is open to all levels. Guest supply their own mat.

Qigong movement opens and lubricates joints, prevents repetitive stress injuries, and brings enhanced comfort to your body. Breathing techniques help you breathe more effectively, benefit all the organs of your body, and enhance mental performance. Postural awareness helps to prevent back and knee problems and to bring more balance and ease in your body. Acupressure points help you access and affect Qi flow for self-healing and wellness.
